Today's Wurdella Hints and Answer

If today's five-letter Wurdella has stopped being fun and started becoming personal, use this page as a controlled hint ladder and keep the full answer hidden until you truly want it. Begin with the solving checklist, open only the light clues you need, compare the answer's structure with relevant Word Finder patterns, and reveal the full word only when you have finished the puzzle or genuinely want the answer.

Before you reveal a hint

Run this spoiler-free solving check first

Most stuck rounds are not actually short on information; the information is just scattered across several rows. Before opening anything below, reconstruct the board in plain language and make sure your next guess obeys every fact you already earned.

1. Lock the greens

Any green letter is finished business. Keep it in the same position unless you are deliberately testing a non-answer word for information, which is rarely useful late in a six-guess puzzle.

2. Relocate the yellows

A yellow letter tells you two things at once: the letter belongs in the answer, and the position where you tried it is wrong. Carry both facts into the next guess.

3. Stop recycling dead letters

If a letter has been ruled out, a new guess containing it usually wastes a valuable position. Use those spaces to test letters that can still change your decision.

4. Reconsider duplicate letters

Repeated letters are easy to overlook because players naturally search for five different characters. If your remaining candidates feel strangely limited, check whether one confirmed or plausible letter could appear twice.

Spoiler-light clue ladder

Reveal only as much help as you want

The clues become progressively stronger. If one clue gives you enough to make a sensible next guess, stop there and go back to the Daily board. Opening everything at once only burns through help you no longer need.

Hint 1: First letter

Today's word starts with R. Keep that letter at the front when you test candidates that otherwise fit your board.

Hint 2: Vowel structure

The answer contains 2 vowels and 3 consonants. Use that balance to reject candidates with the wrong shape.

Hint 3: Repeated letters

The answer does contain a repeated letter. That single fact can remove a surprising number of otherwise plausible candidates.

Hint 4: Last letter

Today's word ends with T. You now know both outside positions, so compare the middle three letters of your remaining possibilities carefully.

Hint 5: Meaning

A machine capable of carrying out actions automatically, often under computer control.

Today-specific pattern help

Word Finder lists that actually contain today's answer

If you want help without seeing the answer, these are genuine pattern lists that include today's word. They are ordered from narrower to broader where possible, so you can choose how much of the search space you want to reveal.

When you have two guesses left

Stop searching broadly and start protecting the solve

With only two rows remaining, the goal changes. Early guesses can afford to maximize information, but late guesses should obey the known pattern and choose between realistic answers. Write down the fixed positions, required letters and excluded letters, then compare only candidates that satisfy all three. If two answers differ by one uncertain letter, pick the guess that separates them; a third unrelated possibility spends a row without resolving the choice.

If you are still staring at a large candidate set, that usually means one piece of feedback has not been fully used. A yellow letter may have more than one ruled-out position, a repeated-letter possibility may have been ignored, or a gray result may be telling you about letter quantity, not total absence.

How Wurdella Daily works

Wurdella Daily is a separate shared challenge from unlimited play. Everyone receives the same five-letter word for the UTC date and has six guesses to solve it. A new Daily begins at 00:00 UTC, so players in different countries are still working from one shared challenge date.

The Daily is useful when you want one comparable puzzle, while unlimited mode is designed for continued play. Finishing the Daily does not end your session; you can switch to unlimited rounds, change difficulty or use the Word Finder to explore patterns you noticed during the challenge.
