Step 1: Choose a game mode
Single player is the quickest way to begin. Multiplayer supports two to four named players taking turns. Teams allows two groups to compete with custom names, member lists and emojis.
For multiplayer and team matches, choose the target number of round wins before starting. A lower target creates a quick game, while a higher target leaves room for comebacks.
Step 2: Select a difficulty
Kids uses the most accessible vocabulary and is suitable for younger players or beginners. Default is balanced for general play. Advanced introduces more difficult words, and Expert is intended for experienced players.
Each difficulty keeps separate progress so changing levels does not mix every result into one score history.
Step 3: Enter a valid guess
Type with a physical keyboard, use the text input or tap the on-screen keyboard. Submit a complete word to receive feedback. You have six rows, so each guess should either move you closer to the answer or test useful new letters.
Do not ignore earlier results. Keep green letters fixed, move yellow letters and remove letters that have been ruled out.
What the colors mean
Green means the letter is in the answer and in the correct position. Yellow means the letter appears in the answer but belongs somewhere else. Incorrect letters should normally be avoided in future guesses.
Repeated letters require extra care. The answer may contain more than one copy, and the feedback reflects how many copies can be matched.
How clues work
One clue is available during the early rows of a round. Confirm that you want to use it, then read the hint. A clue reduces the points available if you win, so it is a strategic rescue rather than a free advantage.
In multiplayer mode, the clue can be shown privately to the active player and hidden before the next turn.
How scoring works
A normal round begins with ten available points. Using the clue reduces the potential reward. Round wins also count toward the selected multiplayer or team match target.
Registered players can save individual score history and appear in longer-term scoring features. Team results remain separate from personal performance.
Starting the next round
After a win or completed board, choose the next-round option to receive a fresh word. Wurdella offers unlimited rounds, so the game can continue for as long as the player or group wants.
